The Socialist Party leadership has approved the names of the new candidates for mayor at the upcoming by-elections on March 6.

For the City of Shkoder, SP has chosen Majlinda Angoni, who has served as a prefect in this district since September 2020.

For the City of Durres, SP will be represented by Ermirjana Sako, who has been leading the municipality since Valbona Sako’s resignation.

SP has yet to announce that candidate for the Municipality of Lushnje. The political leader in Fier, Taulant Balla said that before appointing a candidate, they will consult with groups of interest.

Balla also added that the name will be officially published next Tuesday.
