Bardh Spahia won the by-elections in Shkodra, the only victory scored among Albanian opposition parties.

“It has been an intensive but beautiful race, where we poured into all our efforts, positiveness and ideas”, said Spahia for ‘Today’ on Euronews Albania.

In his first appearance after winning the elections, the nominee of the opposition party House Freedom said he ‘felt the support of the citizens of Shkodra’ throughout the campaign.

Earlier on, Spahia said he was saddened to see “so much animosity among Democrats”.
