The latest results of the Barometer show that citizens continue to have increased confidence in the institution of the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK).

Just like three months ago, SPAK is ranked the first Albanian institution trusted by citizens and this time placed among international institutions in Albania.

From three months ago, where trust in SPAK among citizens was 26.16%, this time those who believe in the work of SPAK are 33.6% of those asked by the Barometer.

In the same reinforcing line are the data that speak about the evaluation of SPAK’s work.

There are 56.8% of citizens who appreciate the work of SPAK. Even for the evaluation of work, the figures have increased compared to 3 months ago.

Barometer has also asked citizens about the statement “if the government supports SPAK in its work” and it turns out that 67.2% of them think that the government supports SPAK in its work and 26.6% of them think that it does not.

In the same question regarding the opposition, the results show that 66.2% of citizens think that the opposition does not support SPAK in its work and 24.3% think that the opposition supports SPAK in its work.

As for another question: Does the government have the power to hinder SPAK in its work, the results show that the answers of the citizens are more balanced, expressed as a percentage, 47.7% think that “yes” the government has the power to hinder SPAK in its work, while 40.5% think that the government has no power to hinder SPAK in its work.
