The Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali commented during an interview for Euronews Albania on the state of the systems in Albania after the recent cyber-attacks.
She indicated that there are damages and the costs have all been laid out in a detailed report.
“It has been presented to the European Commission, NATO structures and our American partners and we will have an answer, I believe in a joint statement because this is not an attack only on Albania, but it is an attack on a loyal country, an ally in NATO which has taken on some important commitments,” said Spiropali.
Under these conditions, the minister called for unity as it is not the time to attack the government.
According to her, there are public voices that mock the case with obvious malice.
Spiropali emphasized that there are many cases where they can debate and differ in opinion, but not when the country is being cyberattacked.
