The Embassy of the United States and the EU Delegation in Albania have welcomed the four new judges of the High Court, following the decree of Albanian President Ilir Meta.
The US Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim, tweeted that now that the High Court has the seven members needed, it can hear criminal, civil and administrative cases, adding that the justice reform is going forward.

The head of the European Union delegation to Albania, Luigi Soreca, called to speed up the procedures for the other appointments at the High Court while guaranteeing āfull supportā for this process.
We welcome the appointment by President @ilirmetazyrtarš¦š±of 4 new judges of the High Court, following proposal by the HJC. It is important now to proceed swiftly to further appointments to the Court. The #EUšŖšŗwill continue providing full support to HJC to pursue this objective.
