This morning, the former US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, was presented with the honorary title, Honoris Causa, by the University of Tirana.

“It’s a great honor for me to receive such a special appraisal by such a special country like Albania,” – said Pompeo.

Pompeo arrived in Tirana this Sunday, when he met with the head of SP’s parliamentary group, Taulant Balla.

Mike Pompeo served as Secretary State for the United States from 2018-2021 during the Trump administration.
