Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, declared from the ‘Open Balkan’ summit taking place today in Belgrade, that the EU should show Serbia the same degree of respect that countries of the Western Balkans have.
During his remarks, the Serbian president also said that the EU should be more understanding with the countries of the Western Balkans.
“We should be committed to our path towards the EU. Let’s connect with each other and remove obstacles to economic cooperation. If they show the same degree of respect that we have shown them, it would be a good thing. We ask that regardless of their issues, they strive to be more understanding with us. Varhelyi was someone who truly understood the issues facing the Western Balkans,” said Vucic.
