Serbian president Alexandar Vucic said that Prishtina and Podgorica will get “Belgrade’s answer regarding their refusal to set up polling stations for ethnic Serbs”.

Serbia has called a meeting of its National Security Council where it expects to discuss the war in Ukraine, the economic crisis, and recent developments in Kosovo regarding Serbia’s elections set to take place on April 3.

Kosovo’s PM Albin Kurti declared that in order for Kosovo to allow these polling stations, there needs to be a proper agreement between the government of Kosovo and Serbia.

Last night, Vucic met with the patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Porifiro.

The president told the patriarch about the latest decisions of Prishtina’s leadership and the situation in the region, along with the challenges facing Serbia since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, reported Euronews Serbia.

Members of Serbia’s National Security Council include the president of the country, the prime minister, the ministers of defense, internal affairs and justice, the head of the National Military Unit, and other directors of the Security Services.
