The candidate for mayor of Prishtina, chosen to represent the Self Determination Movement (LVV), Arben Vitia, cast his ballot today at the city’s Ali Sokoli public school, from where he invited all citizens to generate a massive turnout during these local elections.
In a statement for the press, Vitia added that today is an important day not only for democracy but for the lives of all citizens of Kosovo.
“After a long and honest campaign by all candidates, today is a very important day, not only for our democracy, but our lives as well. Today, the citizens speak and it is important that citizens give their verdict today. I invite citizens to come out and achieve the highest turnout we possibly can because the highest the turnout the stronger is the citizens’ verdict, which we all subdue to,” – said Vitia during his statement for the press.
