“We are in grave need of a president who respects the constitutional norm, a normal president and above all, a president that unites us.”
These were the remarks made by the head of SP’s parliamentary group Taulant Balla.
He guaranteed that the process of the presidential elections will be transparent and that it will meet all necessary standards.
According to Balla, the process that is being led by the Socialist Party is made up of several guarantees and verifications which he didn’t go into detail about in his press statement this Monday.
Procedures to elect the new president will begin tomorrow, before the conclusion of Ilir Meta’s 5-year mandate.
