Public school teachers in North Macedonia have entered their second week since the start of their hunger strike.
The reason for this strike is low wages for this sector, as a possible agreement between them and the government failed yesterday.
Teachers are insisting on having at least an 18% rise in their wage, as the government only offered 10%.
In addition, government officials have called the decision to continue this strike irresponsible.
The ministers of education and social work have appealed to teachers to trust the government and return to their classes.
