Since Serbia halted all exports of grains to Albania, we’ll be heading to alternative sources that will have a higher cost.
This is what representative of the Albanian Center of Exports, Alban Zusi, said to Euronews Albania.
Zusi also proposed the French and Canadian markets but he said that they are much more expensive.
“In my opinion, the biggest problem lies with our exports of grains for our livestock instead of for human consumption because the biggest blow will be felt by producers of meat and dairy,” – he said.
In addition, Zusi argued that imports from alternative sources will cost at least 15% more.
