4 in 5 citizens (80.5%) in Albania see Lulzim Basha’s resignation from the leadership of the Democratic Party as positive.

Only 8% of Albanians see this political move as negative.

Amongst Albanians who voted for the Democratic Party in the last parliamentary elections, this percentage is higher.

1 in 10 DP voters (10%) see Basha’s resignation as negative.

Amongst respondents in general (82%) – but also amongst DP voters (82.6%) – there is a general feeling that Basha shouldn’t run again in the elections for the new party leader.

3 in 4 respondents (73%) gave Basha’s leadership of the Democratic Party a negative rating.

Nearly 80% of DP voters in the last general elections, gave Basha’s leadership a negative rating also.

Findings were retrieved from Euronews Albania’s Barometer by MRB and Data Centrum, through in-person conversations conducted at a national level from April 25 – March 5.
