Adritik Llalla has just made the list of international fugitives wanted in Albania to serve a 2-year prison sentence. Shortly after not being able to find him at his residence last night, the State Police released an alert to all other local police departments around the country to help locate Llalla is he is still in the country.

However, based on verification on the Tims system, Llalla seems to have left the country 2 weeks ago. Official sources at SPAK, told Euronews Albania that in the case that the former prosecutor isn’t found, then procedures for declaring him an international fugitive by Interpol Tirana will be immediately underway.

Yesterday afternoon, the Appeals Court decided to uphold the previous trial court’s ruling, sentencing Llalla to 2 years behind bars over hiding and not declaring his wealth on 3 separate episodes.

Initially, Llalla hid a sum of money amounting to $7 400 US dollars spent in the United Stated, to pay for his wife’s hospital bills, for giving birth to their son. The other episode was related to an unspecified sum of money used in the construction of an unidentified building and the third episode, regarded another unspecified amount of money spent for his daughter’s tuition fees in Germany.

Several estates and an apartment building have been confiscated from Llalla as well, and are on the process of becoming public state-owned properties.
