The former chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha said in an interview with Euronews Albania that anything can be expected from Iran after the expulsion of their diplomats from PM Rama.

For years, Iran has been identified as an aggressive force in Albania and the region, said Basha, who did not deny the chances of expecting an attack.

In order to precede those attacks or to examine them, Basha called for an increase in institutional capacities.

The former head of DP recalled that there was a leak of information even before the cyberattack, which means that Albania is not prepared for reactions from Iran.

Prime Minister Edi Rama demanded on Wednesday that the diplomatic staff of the embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran leave Albania within 24 hours.

In a speech published on social media, Rama declared that the decision of the Council of Ministers comes after it was discovered that the Islamic Republic of Iran is behind the July 15 cyber-attack.
