PM Edi Rama slammed the Democratic Party during his word in Parliament while speaking on SP’s resolution for the war in Kosovo.

The head of the Albanian government declared that the Democratic Party was the one who paved the way for Dick Marty’s report through their vote in the European Council.

In addition, he accused the opposition of “stabbing Kosovo in the back, even though today they like to act like patriots”.

“Dick Marty’s report, the origins of this report was DP’s vote in the European Council. You were the ones who paved the way for Dick Marty’s report. The stabs on the back you’ve been giving Kosovo from day one, by massacring Kosovo’s Liberation Army, like terrorists, like Marxist-Leninists, until the very last day, by stabbing the president of Kosovo in the chest. You can’t hide any of this! History will tell that you – the big Albanian patriots – are the ones who stabbed Kosovo in the back. And you’ll remain that way because old habits die hard,” – said Rama.

Today, Parliament is discussing the draft resolution presented by the Socialist majority on “Dick Marty’s report and its groundless claims of organ trafficking in Albania and Kosovo during the Kosovo War”.

The opposition has approved the draft and presented 2 additional amendments.
