Serbian President, Aleksander Vucic stated recently that he has been assured by Greece that it won’t be recognizing Kosovo, but he also added that the reconciliation of rapports between Athens and Prishtina isn’t the best of news for Serbia.
“I don’t want to say anything before the fact, but there have been some changes in their relations, I expect to find out if this entails a simple Economic and Commercial Affairs Office or something more between Greece and Kosovo. We will see how things continue from here, before informing our public,” stated Vucic for the Serbian TV station Pink.
Vucic also added during his interview, that important consultations regarding Kosovo will be taking place in the capital of Belgrade in the days to come before the dialogue between Belgrade-Prishtina can recommence in Brussels. According to Vucic, of great importance is for Serbia to protect its state and national interest.
