Head of the National Medical Emergency Center and medical expert, Skender Brataj said on Euronews Albania’s ‘Raw Politics’ that the prejudice over the Chinese vaccine, being administered to the majority of Albanian citizens, is ‘wrong’ and ‘baseless’.
Brataj explained that the issue of vaccines has turned into an economic and geopolitical war, arguing that the more people get the vaccine, whatever type of vaccine, the better.
“All vaccines will be reassessed because with the mutations that the virus is experiencing, the new vaccines that will get produced are bound to change,” said the medical doctor.
When asked regarding the methods used when choosing which vaccine goes to who and whether or not citizens have a choice when it comes to the type of vaccine they get, Brataj said that this depends on the number of vaccines available at the center, where the inoculation is being offered.
