During a press briefing from DP’s headquarters, Sali Berisha accused the fiscal amnesty of possibly having catastrophic consequences for business security and law and order in Albania.
In addition, Berisha highlighted that this amnesty will deal a major blow to honest businesses while hurting the country’s reputation.
“Their main goal is to legalize dirty money because everyone is very clear on this that there are no honest Albanians who have been able to accumulate 2 million euros in savings through honest work. There’s only one goal in all of this and that is to legalize the ‘boys’ dirty crime money and we are categorically against it,” – said Berisha.
DP’s leader also called amnesty a way to compensate all those who are involved in criminal trafficking.
