Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha accused the ruling Socialist majority’s resolution on the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica of being double-standard.

The current government, according to him, doesn’t dare to speak about Serbia’s genocide in Kosovo because it’s trying to cover for Alexandar Vucic.

“On one hand you condemn the genocide but on the other hand, you intentionally hide the ideolog and architect of the genocide in Bosnia, Slobodan Milosevic, and Rama’s half-brother, Vucic. Every media outlet across the globe has spoken about the declaration in Parliament as well as in Bosnia made by Vucic, who pledges to kill 100 Muslims for every Serbian killed in war. There’s only one place in the world for Vucic and that is The Hague.

But you, aren’t just scared to ask for his prosecution in The Hague and sentencing for genocide, but you’re doing everything in your power to limit it to only Bosnia. Why are you playing ostrich? What motivates you to not speak openly about this and condemn the big massacre ever known to Europe since the Second World War. This is nothing but oppression.” – said Berisha.
