The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) will not endorse Vjosa Osmani as president of Kosovo.
In a press conference, Ramush Haradinaj, the party’s leader and former Kosovo premier, declared that Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani have never reached out to AAK to discuss over a potential political deal in terms of voting for the government as well as the president.
“We have welcomed the opportunity to discuss with the election winners”, said Haradinaj. “They have not asked for collaboration with us, therefore we’re not part of any political deal to vote the candidate of Self-Determination for president”, Haradinaj said.
Asked over the alignment of the Democratic Union of Kosovo (LDK) on choosing the president, the former premier responded that it is a “new relationship” between LDK and Self-Determination.
