The state police opened on Monday a probe into the accident that sent a city bus plunging into the capital’s Lana River.
The 62-year-old bus driver was charged with reckless driving.
The bus collided with another vehicle and swerved off the road.
Several people were injured and taken to hospital, while the bus remains at the scene.
On Monday, another city bus was involved in a traffic accident, but there were no reported injuries.
