Macedonian president Stevo Pendarovski called a meeting of the Security Council on Sunday, where the modified proposal of the French presidency on the opening of negotiations with the EU will be reviewed.
Yesterday, the Macedonian foreign minister Bujar Osmani, said that the French proposal doesn’t violate the Macedonian language while calling its criticism by the opposition groundless speculation.
The aim of the French proposal is to bring an end to the dispute between North Macedonia and Bulgaria which will therefore lead to the initiation of accession negotiations forth both Albania and North Macedonia with the EU.
