The Albanian Government has decided to allocate €1 million euros as an aid to Ukraine meant to help with the costs of the war.
The decision was made during today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers and it comes a week after the pledge Albania made during the Donors Conference held in Warsaw, Poland.
According to the decision, the amount will be covered by the state budget’s reserve fund for 2022.
During his word at the Donors Conference in Warsaw, PM Edi Rama expressed his gratitude for the invitation to participate in this event and admitted that he was aware that Albania’s contribution was modest.
