The Montenegrin parliament will convene in an extraordinary plenary session to decide whether it will dismiss deputy prime minister Dritan Abazovic.
PM Zdravko Krivokapic filed a motion to the parliament asking for the dismissal of Abazovic.
The move request to dismiss his ally from the ruling coalition comes at a time when Abazovic filed a motion of no-confidence against the government.
On Friday, it will be the parliament to decide whether to sack the prime minister or clear the way to new elections.
The parliament of Montenegro has 81 MPs. The ruling majority, if we include Abazovic’s votes, can succeed in forming a brittle majority.
Expectations are that Abazovic will become interim premier until the country goes to elections.
